Jakarta – Politeknik Internasional Bali has partnered with The Apurva Kempinski Bali to launch a 4-year Executive Management Program under the Hotel Management Program Study. The program aims to enhance tourismpreneurship and leadership skills by providing students with real-life experience in the tourism, hotel, and hospitality industry. The launching event was held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta, and attended by distinguished guests, including Prof. Dr. Ir. Anastasia Sulistyawati, M.S., M.M., M.Mis., D.Th., Ph.d., D.Ag. as Director of Politeknik Internasional Bali, Dr. Paulus Herry Arianto, M.A., C.B.C. as Politeknik Internasional Bali Vice Director, and Harrison Tompodung as Director of People Training &. Quality Management of The Apurva Kempinski Bali.

Politeknik Internasional Bali is a vocational college in Bali that is dedicated to the tourism, digital, and creative arts industry. It is committed to changing people’s lives for the better by developing their skills and paving the way for their future careers. The Executive Management Program is a strategic initiative that places students straight into the industry, where they will experience the real tourism, hotel, and hospitality industry. Upon graduation, the students will be placed in mid-management level positions in The Apurva Kempinski Bali.

The launching event invited schools in JABODETABEK area to participate in a focus group discussion forum to exchange their thoughts on the current situation and challenges faced by schools, students, and parents regarding the tourism industry, especially in the hotel and hospitality industry. This program is meant to be the answer to those challenges and aims to develop the hotel and hospitality industry through the quality of its young leaders.

In addition to the launching event, a leadership workshop Different Generation, Diverse Perspective & Multi-Cultural Understanding in Education Ecosystem” Contribute to Bridge the Gap to Progress as a Whole was held to help participants identify crisis and challenges in work situations.
