Tabanan, Bali – PIB College, known for its passion for creativity, recently hosted a delightful event: Decorating Cupcakes, as part of the annual PIB Sunsetion celebration. This event was a charming collaboration between Event Management students and the Culinary Arts & Gastronomy program at PIB College.

The Decorating Cupcakes workshop was all about the joy of baking and exploring the art of cake decoration. It provided a lovely opportunity for participants to learn about various types of buttercream, the art of making good buttercream, and the key characteristics to consider.

What made this workshop special was the guidance of Billy Tanius, the Head of the Culinary Arts & Gastronomy Program at PIB College.

During the class, participants learned the art of piping, a fundamental skill in cupcake decoration. They used special pastry bags and nozzles and practiced controlling pressure and hand movements to create beautifully decorated cupcakes.

Participants also had the freedom to decorate cupcakes with their own creative touch, applying techniques learned during the class. It was a delightful way to express their artistic side.
