
TABANAN, BALI – Politeknik Internasional Bali (PIB) College, an international college located in the strategic BITDeC ONE Campus area in Nyanyi, Bali, has officially strengthened its global collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Asia Pacific Institute for Event Management (APIEM) and Enter House. This initiative marks a strategic step in reinforcing PIB College’s position as a leading higher education institution in Bali with direct connections to the international event management industry.
During the same occasion, PIB College was also officially inaugurated as the Asia Pacific Head Office of APIEM through an Official Inauguration Ceremony. This designation further highlights Bali’s growing role as a key hub for education and development in the event management industry across the Asia-Pacific region, while significantly enhancing PIB College’s global visibility as an industry-driven institution in Indonesia. Moreover, this collaboration elevates academic standards, learning experiences, and certification frameworks to meet international benchmarks.
“This collaboration is a strategic step in equipping students with digital competencies, adaptability, and skills aligned with the evolving needs of the AI-driven events industry. The signing of the MoU, MoA, and Implementation Agreement between PIB College, APIEM, and Enter House marks an important milestone in strengthening international partnerships, fostering industry engagement, and expanding professional learning opportunities for our students,” said Prof. Sulistyawati, Director of PIB College, in her welcoming speech.
She further emphasized that this partnership not only expands international collaboration opportunities but also provides students with direct access to global industry standards, cross-border professional networks, and career pathways in the international event management and hospitality sectors.
As part of the event series, PIB College also hosted a Studium Generale featuring world-class speakers. David Hind delivered a session titled “An Introduction to AI in the Events Industry – The Future is Here Today,” exploring the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in modern event management, including key trends in digitalization and automation shaping the global industry.
The following session was led by Inyo Tanius Saleh with the topic “The Professional Intern’s Playbook: Bridging Academic Knowledge with Industry Reality,” highlighting the importance of job readiness, hands-on experience, and adaptability in navigating today’s dynamic global workforce.
Through this international collaboration, PIB College continues to strengthen its position as a leading international college in Indonesia, focused on developing global talent in hospitality and event management.
