Green Architecture & Tropical Interior

Program Length: 04 Weeks

About the Program

The Green Architecture & Tropical Interior short course at PIB College is a comprehensive 4-week program designed to inspire and equip participants with the knowledge and skills to design sustainable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing spaces that harmonize with tropical environments. As the world increasingly prioritizes eco-conscious practices, this program delves into the principles of green architecture and tropical interior design, emphasizing energy efficiency, passive cooling systems, and the use of natural, locally sourced materials.

Participants will explore how to blend indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly, incorporating lush greenery and water features to create designs that reflect the essence of tropical living. Through engaging theoretical sessions, hands-on workshops, and immersive excursions to iconic architectural landmarks in Bali, participants will gain insight into traditional Balinese architecture and its adaptation to modern sustainable design principles.

This program is ideal for aspiring architects, interior designers, and environmental enthusiasts who wish to understand the intricate balance between functionality, cultural heritage, and environmental sustainability. By the end of the course, participants will not only have deepened their appreciation for tropical architecture and design but will also have created a project showcasing their ability to integrate green principles into real-world applications.
