11 Mar Director of Politeknik Internasional Bali Signed an MoU with Taylor University Malaysia
Selangor-Tuesday (12/02), Politeknik Internasional Bali officially established a cooperative relationship with Taylor University Malaysia. This was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) conducted by the Director of the Politeknik Internasional Bali (PIB), Prof. Dr. Ir. Anastasia Sulityawati, M.Sc., M.M., M.Mis., D.Th., Ph.D., D.Ag with Vice University Counselor Taylor University Malaysia, Prof. Pradeep Nair.
Taylor University is one of the leading universities in Malaysia and ranked 21 in the world (2018 QS World University Ranking) in the field of Hospitality and Leisure Management. The institution is also the only one in Malaysia to be awarded TedQual certification by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) which is the highest accreditation from the United Nations (UN).
The collaboration between the Politeknik Internasional Bali and Taylor University Malaysia includes student exchanges and lecturer research. The cooperation is a form of commitment from PIB to expand its relations as an international-standard higher education institution that organizes diploma study programs in tourism. The programs offered include D3 Culinary Arts, D4 Hospitality Management, and D4 Management of Conventions and Events. The purpose of the collaboration between the two institutions is to improve the quality of graduates and support each research program held by lecturers and the Politeknik Internasional Bali academic community.
