15 Mar Taylor’s University Return Visit
Tabanan – Friday (3/15), Politeknik Internasional Bali (PIB) welcomes representatives from Taylor’s University Malaysia consisting of a lecturer and 9 students from the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events. Previously on February 12, PIB had made an official visit to Malaysia as a form of cooperative relationship marked by the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The visit by Taylor’s University this time, besides being a reciprocal visit, is also part of their faculty program called Packaging Tour Course, where students are required to plan and make a trip to a tourist destination area such as Bali.
This activity begins with welcoming ceremony and presentation about the tourism industry in both countries. Followed by lunch and cooking demo by Chef Adiguna Tumpuan, SST.Par., M.Par as head of the Culinary Arts program. Then as the closing of the visit the tour was held around PIB campus.
“PIB has a very beautiful campus with a peaceful environment. High class facility which is very suitable for the students and comfortable at the same time. Perfectly designed as an education center,” said Kumata, one of Taylor’s University students.
With this visit, it is hoped that it will be a good start of the cooperation relationship between the two institutions so that the goals and commitment of PIB can be achieved to expand relations as an international standard higher education institution in the field of tourism.
